Buck and Janilee have a vision for greater marriages that is characterized by an upward process of growth in your relationship as a result of following the principles laid out by God, who created marriage. Our goal is that you would become a "student of marriage", and of your spouse. We teach the principles of marriage including the four foundational cornerstones, the most important issue in marriage, the top needs of a man and a woman, communication, problem solving, finances, raising children, in-laws, and sexual fulfillment. Why not think big in a marriage and expect continual, upward growth and improvement, greater intimacy, and understanding of its purpose for us?
The class is 7 weeks twice a year one night a week. Buck and Janilee have been assisted by two other couples, the Holmbergs and the Martins, in doing approximately 17 workshops so far. We conclude the course with a 24 hour "Vision Retreat" in which we walk through the steps and demonstrate how to accomplish getting a vision for your marriage so that it can be a permanent 'tool' for you.
What is exciting is that by the end of the 7 weeks great friendships have been developed. We realize that we all face problems and together we are an encouragement to each other. Whether you're newly married or married a long time; whether it is good or bad; or whether you simply want to improve --- this marriage class will make a difference in the quality and depth of your marriage.
