Before coming to California as a couple Jacob & Julie were married and lived in Fort Collins, CO. They started ministering together as a couple in youth ministry at a local youth center in Wellington, CO called The Filling Station. It is a Christian based youth facility that reaches out to hundreds of teenagers and adults that come from many different backgrounds of life. They were involved with this ministry for over 5 years before they felt the call from God that they were to move and expand the ministry of The Filling Station to another state. While the existing Filling Station was going great in Colorado they felt called to California. So they started The Oroville Filling Station after they moved here in the summer of 2005. 
       Jacob & Julie have since started a family and have one wonderful little girl named Annie who was born on November 14, 2006, and are expecting their second little girl on September 22, 2009. They say it has been a great joy growing as a family, and seeing how God has richly blessed them through their daily lives. They love life with God so much, and look forward to what he has in store for them each and every day!
